I'm doing a couple of small livingroom concerts at home with family and friends. It's one of the best ways to get constructive feedback and it takes me back to a time where I used to sing songs everyday for hours. I just did it for myself; I played Debussy and Chopin and I completely fell in love with their music. I love the conservatory atmosphere, but there's something in the air... sometimes it feels as if we don't make music for ourselves anymore. There's pressure on your dream and a sudden need to succeed, to belong, to be conform with what they expect from you.
Maybe I'll give a couple of small livingroom concerts in my apartment in a relaxed atmosphere when I'm back. Free Whiskey, Weed and White Chocolate for everyone who comes along and a session afterwards.
